Before & After School Program Information

Registration Begins Wednesday, July 17th at 8AM!
Enrollment into the 2024-25 Before & After Care Program requires new Paperwork to be completed and submitted in person each year.

Initial enrollment for the Before & After School Program MUST be done in person at the Dunedin Community Center or the MLK Jr. Recreation Center.
Please refer to the paperwork link above for updated fees. Due to our current staffing levels and the adult to child ratios we must maintain, only full-time enrollment will be offered at this time.

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM STARTS AT END OF SCHOOL DAY (INCLUDING EARLY RELEASE DAYS) AND GOES UNTIL 6:00 P.M.

The Before School Program (BSP) starts at 7:30 A.M. until the start of school and the After School Program (ASP) covers from school dismissal to 6:00 P.M. Parents may sign up for either: Before School Program (BSP), After School Program (ASP) or both (B/ASP) to accommodate their needs. The program consists of structured activities: i.e. games, arts/crafts, local field trips, sports, musical activities, special event days and more. These programs include occasional walking/van trips within the Dunedin community. ALL REGISTERED CHILDREN WILL BE REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE IN ALL PLANNED ACTIVITIES. Upon registering a child in the program, a parent/guardian is agreeing to the child's participation in the trip activities as well as to other activities. Some trips will require van transportation. By registering for the program, parents agree to allow their child to participate in such trips.

This program runs for the entire school year (180 days). The annual fee is divided into 10 payments. After the 20th of each month, there will be a balance due on your account. Payments are due by the 1st of each month. Payments received AFTER the 1st of each month will be charged a $10 Late Fee (per enrollment). Students whose balance has not been paid by the 3rd of each month can not be admitted into the program. Monthly payments may be made online or in person at the Community Center or the MLK Jr. Recreation Center.

A missed payment will result in the child's being removed from the roster and considered terminated from the program. Re-enrollment (if there is availability) will require paying the $25 Registration Fee and resuming payments.

CHECK WITH DUNEDIN RECREATION FOR AVAILABILITY OF OTHER ALL-DAY PROGRAM(S) IN WHICH YOU MAY WANT TO ENROLL YOUR CHILD (separate enrollment and fee from Before/After School Program).


Enrollment into the 24-25 Before & After Care Program requires new Paperwork to be completed yearly.
