WINTER & SPRING HOLIDAY CAMP REGISTRATION

Our Holiday Camps such as Turkey Trot, Jack Frost and Swing into Spring require a Camp Registration form.
Camp forms are required yearly and are accepted annually starting March 1st. Click here to fill out our current form for Holiday Camps. It will need to be uploaded into your household account. PLEASE NOTE: This form is for holiday camps only and cannot be accepted before March 1st for Summer Camp. A Summer Camp Packet that includes this form is required and will be posted when available.

All of the prerequisites listed below must be fulfilled by the parent or legal guardian ONLY prior to registering online or in person. Grandparents and Step Parents that have not legally adopted the child(ren) are unable to sign waivers, fill out forms or enroll in camps on the parents behalf. Registration will continue until camps are full. At minimum all children require our Comprehensive Waiver and Camp Forms. Those seeking waitlist spots follow the same paperwork requirements to ensure a fast enrollment process when a spot becomes available.

1. Create or Update your Account
You must have an existing account prior to using online registration. New accounts are created by the parent or Legal Guardian online by selecting “Create an Account” on our login page OR in person at the Dunedin Community Center or the MLK Jr. Recreation Center.

2. Camp Registration Form (Uploaded or turned in yearly) for Each Child.
If uploading, you will find "Document Upload" under "My account" at the top of this page when logged in.
Camp Registration forms must be completed by the parent and/or legal guardian ONLY and be uploaded online or submitted in person on or after March 1st each year. Forms must be filled out completely and cannot contain any blank fields- Form fields that do not apply should be marked "N/A". It can take up to three business days for accounts and forms to be reviewed. Camp spots are NOT held during this time.

3. Receive email from Registration that paperwork is approved. You will not be able to enroll in camps before this and our comprehensive waiver is done.

4. Sign or E-Authorize the yearly Family Comprehensive Waiver for each child.
Only the Parents or the Legal Guardians of the Child(ren) may sign or authorize waivers. This can be done online using the “Comprehensive Waiver”" button on the Home Page or in Person. We will not accept uploaded or scanned waivers.

5. Enroll in Camps!


For children currently enrolled in our Before and After School Care program, parents are able to enroll their children in Holiday Camps without filling out new paperwork! Parents are still encouraged to verify and update their current BASP forms in person prior to registering for holiday camps.
PLEASE NOTE: The BASP paperwork does not cover Summer Camp. A New summer camp packet is required each year on March 1st or later to register for Summer Camps.

Coach Paul Sylvester brings over 30 years of teaching experience in the game of golf. Learn the skills of putting, chipping, pitching, range swing, sand traps, short game and competition. You will also receive a video analysis of your swing. Camp will include rulebooks, tees and ball markers.

Come join the fun and learn to line dance to all different rhymes from beginner’s up. Many benefits to learning line dance, improving memory skills, strengthening bones, developing better balance, relieve stress and puts a smile on your face. The social benefits are beyond measure.

Traditional Isshin-ryu Karate and self defense techniques provide a great work out. On Tuesdays, Kumite (sparring) will be practiced; on Thursdays, Kubudo (weapons) will be practiced. Please bring your own practice weapons; no sharing.

Have fun making deco mesh wreaths for the holidays, seasons or any occasion. Learn a different style each month so every wreath you go home with will look different. Meet up with fellow outdoor and fishing enthusiasts to fish and learn about ethical angling, conservation, Florida's aquatic habitats, basic fishing gear, and general fishing concepts to help you be a confident and responsible angler. Explore the waterways around Caladesi Island while watching for native wildlife and learning about the local flora and fauna. Basic kayaking skills are required. Hammock Wilderness Camp is offered in four sessions; each session is two weeks long.

This selection is for extra time that can be added onto the daily camp hours for early drop off and late pick up. Adding XREC to each week enables a drop off time of 7:30am and a pick up time of 6:00pm.

School may be out, but play is in! When your kids have days off from school, we have your childcare covered. Join us for a full day of games, crafts, activities and fun.

Please wear play clothes and closed toe shoes. Pleased pack a non-perishable lunch and labeled water bottle.

$30 early bird rate, $40 after the deadline.
Ages 4-12, Grades Pre-K -5th Grade only.
Children over the age 10 will need to contact the registration office to register online.

Develop the skills for better league play! Our experienced coach will focus on developing individual skills like dribbling, lay-ups, defensive play and sportsmanship. Clinics will also include scrimmages where players can refine skills and sharpen their in-game decision making.

Imagination + Creativity + LEGO’s = The Right Stuff!
Each month we will take it step by step, working together to build impressive new LEGO sets, enjoy a delicious snack, and then individually are put to the creative test during our monthly “imagination challenge”.

Have your child bring out their inner artiste as we offer unique projects for them to create and take each week! No artistic experience needed as we explore different mediums of expression.

Stay on trend as we create your favorite viral food hits! Each night your child will create and taste two “kid-friendly” viral food sensations.

* Must Register by the Wednesday before to attend.

Skate and play ‘til midnight and test your skills on extreme inflatables, mobile gaming and laser tag. The fun also includes mini skate jams, music, giveaways and a snack food buffet. Presented by Dunedin Parks & Recreation and hosted by the Youth Advisory Committee. This event requires the Family Comprehensive waiver to be put in the cart first if one has not already been done this year.

$20 Pre-Register / $25 Day of Event

Parents, please note that children must be picked up at the end of the event; no child will be permitted to walk home. All skaters must have a waiver on file and wear helmet, elbow and knee pads.

Chefs on the Go will provide your child the opportunity to build their cooking skills while having fun at the same time. Each week your child will create, bake and taste “kid friendly” recipes.

Free transportation to sports on the run is provided for our After School Program participants at Dunedin, Garrison and San Jose Elementary! Children will need to be picked up from the MLK Center.

AM XREC care is extra time that can be added onto the daily camp hours for early drop off. There is no PM XREC available for cooking camp since it is only offered 9am-12pm.
